Spaces
Inspired by the Spanish architectural wonder, Muralla Roja, in Calp, Spain, I wanted to include both organic and geometric shape into my sun-drenched living room. Using Backdrop paint in Modern Love and 36 Hours in Marrakesh, I created a small stepped mural in my corner. The piano, which I am refurbishing, was thrifted, as well as the velvet green couch. Pillow is from Holiday the Label, and candle sconce is from Fredericks & Mae.
Featuring the most-loved chair in the entire apartment, this sun-drenched corner of the living room is perfect for reading or snuggling with my dog (it's also her favorite chair). In my opinion, the crown jewel of this special little spot is the Wooj Design lamp.
The mantle, named after the art-deco style lotus wallpaper, is the most personal part of the living room. With the fireplace-turned-bookshelp, to my beloved guitar, to the various candlesticks and tchotchkes, the mantle will forever be the most characteristic pocket of the room.
My tiny museum! I have many interests including music and cinema, and this was the best way to display my interests. My couch was a thrift find, and it goes so well with my Marcello Velho and Holiday the Label pillows.
